Actress Gillian Anderson, who is returning to her iconic character of Dana Scully in "The X-Files: Event Series", says she and her co-star David Duchovny could barely stand each other initially.

The actress said their initially animosity was due to the long hours that it took the actress to get ready.

"My hair used to get really frizzy. And they had to blow dry it between shots," she said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with Duchovny, who played Fox Muller on the show.

Anderson also confided to Kimmel that returning to play the character after such a long gap was not as easy as she expected it be.

She explained that she had tried disassociating with that character for a long time for finding it again was very difficult for her.

The "X-Files: Event Series" would premiere on Star World Premiere HD on January 30th, 9pm.
