The Manchester-based artist said that he spent ages trying to convince Beckham, 37, not to go too far with his extreme inkings, reported Daily Star.
"I spent two years trying to get David not to get the neck one. He'll even tell you himself. I don't like to do them on the neck, face or hands normally, but let's face it, he's not going to find himself out of a job because of it. And he must like it because he never had it removed," said Molloy.
The artist was promoting Forever Ink, the UK's first skincare range designed specifically for the care of tattooed skin.
