After a tip-off, central zone team of ATS arrested Jahangir alias Haseen Siddiqui, a native of UP's Balrampur district, from Paandareeba road near railway station last evening, police said.
During interrogation, Jahangir told that he joined Dawood gang in 1997 and was involved in several cases of murder in Mumbai, a police spokesman said.
Jahangir was wanted in several cases in Mumbai.
19 cartridges of .32 bore revolver, PAN card and driving licence issued on Mumbra address and passport in the name of Haseen Siddiqui were recovered from his possession, he said.
