India today said that its stand on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, wanted for the 1993 Mumbai blasts, was still same and the fugitive gangster will be brought to justice wherever he is.
"Our stand about Dawood Ibrahim is still the same, that he is an absconder from justice. We have not forgotten what he has done, that is the Mumbai terror attacks.
"Be assured that at some stage he will be brought to justice wherever he is," Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said in response to a question about India's stand on Ibrahim, especially after an audio clip, purportedly showing that he was in Pakistan, emerged recently.
