SP General Secretary Ramgopal Yadav even said, "We were giving outside support (to UPA) and we are still doing that. But we cannot comment on how long this will continue."

Yadav compared the UPA rule with that of Mayawati in Uttar Pradesh and alleged the two are competing with each other for presiding over more scams.

"A competition is on between the last state government in Uttar Pradesh and the present Central government as to who will lead in the scam cases," Yadav said addressing a gathering of party workers and senior leaders.

He said not a single day passes without report of a new scam in the Centre and the situation is similar to previous regime in Uttar Pradesh where every single page in a government file spoke of financial bungling.

Yadav criticised the policies of UPA and said the government is not able to take any decision on its own.

"There is no control of any nature in the government. Prime Minister can not take any decision by himself and even for smallest decisions a signal is awaited from somewhere else," he claimed.

Holding the Centre responsible for the 2G scam and alleged bungling in allocation of coal blocks, he said, "When 2G scam's worth was estimated at Rs 1.76 lakh crore, people were not able to count the numbers in it. Now CAG has reported a scam in allocation of coal blocks worth Rs 1.90 lakh crore.

"If public undertakings are added in it, then the worth becomes Rs 10 lakh crore," he said.

Asked by reporters about Mulayam's presence at the UPA dinner, Yadav said, "He has always attended the dinner. We were giving outside support (to UPA) and we are still doing that. But we cannot comment on how long this will continue."
