A day after US temporarily suspended cargo shipments from Afghanistan, around 20 NATO containers and trailers crossed into Pakistan via the Chaman border in the Baluchistan province.
According to reports, the containers and trailers which are carrying military equipment entered Pakistan from the Chaman border in Baluchistan across the Vesh Mandi border of Afghanistan.
A provincial government official in Quetta confirmed the containers were on their way to the port city of Karachi.

He said they were strong security measures put in place before the NATO containers and trailers moved into Pakistan in a huge convoy.
The convoy is said to be part of the NATO troops withdrawal from Afghanistan.
He said the custom officials are giving clearance to NATO containers after checking all required documents at the Chaman border.
Earlier yesterday, former cricketer's Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf party had claimed a tactical success after the US military suspended shipments out of Afghanistan via the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa province.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government in KP province has taken an increasingly anti-drone stance with regular sit-ins being organised to stop NATO supplylines.
Activists in the province led by the PTI have been searching trucks and roughing drivers.
Pentagon spokesperson Mark Wright said on Tuesday that the US had voluntarily halted shipments of cargo leaving Afghanistan through the Torkham border crossing in K-P.
Torkham is a key transit point used by the Americans and NATO to withdraw military hardware from Afghanistan, as part of a troop pullout set to wrap up by the end of 2014.
Imran demanded the government block NATO supplies after a US drone strike that killed the late Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) leader Hakimullah Mehsud, but Islamabad has shown no appetite for such a move.
