Day temperature today rose in the national capital bringing some respite to the people, after Delhi yesterday recorded its its coldest January 22 in five years.
The maximum temperature today settled at 19.8 degrees Celsius, a rise of 6.6 degree from yesterday's corresponding figure.
But, while the maximum was still a notch below the season's average, the minimum was recorded at 11.4 degrees Celsius, four points above the normal.

The city received 6.5 mm rainfall early in the morning, a MeT official said.
The visibility was recorded at 800 m both at 5.30 AM and 8.30 AM but improved significantly to 1200 m, 1800 m and 2500 m at 11.30 AM, 2.30 PM and 5.30 PM respectively.
The MeT has predicted clear skies for tomorrow.
"The skies will be mainly clear. There will be moderate fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around at 19 degrees Celsius and 9 degrees Celsius respectively," the official said.
