The maximum temperature rose by five to seven degrees in lower and mid-hills of Himachal Pradesh as the region experienced a dry day today.
Sundernagar and Bhuntar recorded a high of 25.4 degrees and 23 degrees Celsius respectively, compared to 16.4 degrees and 15 degrees yesterday.
Una and Nahan recorded a high of 26.8 and 26.2 degrees respectively, followed by Solan 23.7 degrees, Dharamsala 19.8 degrees, Shimla 17.2 degrees and Kalpa 1.2 degree Celsius, a MeT official said.

However, the minimum temperature plummeted from minus 0.3 degree yesterday to minus 6.9 degree at Keylong in tribal Lahaul and Spiti district, while there was no significant change in night temperatures in other parts of the state.
Kalpa, Manali and Bhuntar recorded a low of 0.4 degree, 3.0 degrees and 3.9 degrees respectively while Sundernagar recorded minimum temperature at 5.6 degrees, followed by Solan and Shimla 7.4 degrees, Dharamsala 8.2 degrees, Una 11.2 degrees and Nahan 12.5 degrees Celsius, the official said.
The local MeT office has predicted dry weather in the region for next six days till February 27.
