The day temperatures rose marginally in most parts of Himachal Pradesh today with Una registering the hottest place at 41.7 degrees Celsius.
The mercury touched 41.7 degrees Celsius at Una while Sundernagar, Nahan and Bhuntar recorded the maximum temperatures at 36.4 degrees Celsius, 35.1 degrees Celsius and 34.2 degrees Celsius, while Solan and Dharamsala recorded a high of 31.4 degrees Celsius and 30.4 degrees Celsius, followed by Shimla 26.7 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperatures also rose marginally and Keylong was coldest with a low of 1.8 degrees Celsius, followed Kalpa 5.4 degrees Celsius, Manali 5.6 degrees Celsius, Bhuntar 11.0 degrees Celsius, Dharamsala 14.8 degrees Celsius, Sundernagar 15.0 degrees Celsius.
The local Meteorological (MeT) office warned of thundershowers accompanied by squall and hailstorm in the lower and mid hills on April 27 and 28 and wet spell in the mid and higher hills for five days from tomorrow.
The farmers and fruit growers are worried as squall and hailstorm was damaging for standing wheat crop in the mid and higher hills and for stone fruits and apple crop, which is at the setting stage.
