The Delhi Badminton Association (DBA), led by president Mohammad Azharuddin, is organising the Delhi State Badminton Championship and Inter District Championship from September 25 to 28 here.
The tournament will witness under-19 shuttles in Boys and Girls category competing against each other at the Ludlow Castle Badminton Hall, which will also host the competitions of Men and Women Categories.
The BAI doesn't recognise DBA and its executive council had granted it the status of a club without voting rights.
DBA president Azharuddin had described the decision as 'contempt of court' and in search of justice for the DBA and its players, it moved the Delhi High Court and a decision is expected on Monday.
