Fox has handed a pilot order to the DC Comics adaptation 'Lucifer'.
Jerry Bruckheimer and Sleepy Hollow's Len Wiseman are executive producing Lucifer from a pilot script by 'Californication's Tom Kapinos, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
'Lucifer' will centre on the ruler hell abandoning his kingdom out of boredom to make his new home in Los Angeles.

Lucifer first appeared in the pages of DC Comics in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen, and was later revived by Neil Gaiman in The Sandman in the 1980s.
Fox has also given a second season order to fellow DC Comics series 'Gotham'.
