Joining the chorus for equality, Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal today advocated for the entry of women in temples, saying they should be allowed in all religious places.

"Women shud be allowed in all religious places. Govt delaying court orders on Sabarimala reflects patriarchal mindset.

"Y treat menstruating women as impure. If women didn't menstruate, men wouldnt b born! What's impure about birth cycle, abt menstrual blood?" Maliwal tweeted.
