DDA extends penalty relief scheme

In a major respite to allottees, occupants and defaulters, DDA today extended till December 31 the date for them to avail of the penalty relief scheme.

The decision was taken by Delhi Development Authority during its authority meet today.

The last date which was earlier approved by the authority for the scheme was September 10.

As per the scheme, a relief of 25 per cent on the penalty amount is to be given to allottees who have cleared all their due instalments as on the date of applying for penalty relief.
