Actor Ryan Reynolds said that shooting "Deadpool" was 'a lot of fun'.

The 39-year-old star is set to reprise the title role in the film, reported Female First.

"There's some pretty racy, pretty hyper-violent things that happen in this movie and it's been a lot of fun to shoot," he said.

"The Proposal" star said that he has enjoyed the experience of breaking the fourth wall with this film.

He said, "Every comic book movie I go to nobody dies! We get an opportunity to do this in a way, which is fourth-wall breaking, that kind of mercenary sensibility and humour, which is very rare in this world,to do something that's not necessarily for just kids," he said.

The film is based on the Marvel Comic series and has been adapted for the big screen.

Reynolds is joined on the cast by Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, TJ Miller, and Ed Skrein as Copycat, Angel Dust, Weasel, and Ajax.

It will release on February 4, 2016.
