Jitender Singh lost control of his vehicle near Simthan last evening while on return leg of the Mughal Road Rally, the officials said.
They said while Singh died on the spot, his navigator Ashish Mahajan was critically injured.
Mahajan was shifted to SKIMS hospital here where he has been put in the ICU. The condition of Mahajan has shown no signs of improvement since last night, the doctors attending on him said.
The Mughal Road rally was flagged off from here on Saturday and is scheduled to be flagged in later in the day.
