With two more persons succumbing to their injuries, the toll in jeep-tanker collision on Shahjahanpur-Sitapur National Highway rose to nine today, police said here.
Seven persons were killed and five others injured when a passenger jeep collided with an oil tanker on the National Highway at Roza area of this district last night.
The condition of three of the injured was critical and they have been referred to Barailey, where two persons succumbed to injuries during treatment, police said.
