A debt-ridden quack in Meerganj area of the district allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree, police said today.
Vedram Gangwar, 52, was found hanging from a tree in Hurhari village of Bareilly this morning, said Additional Superintendent of Police Brajesh Srivastava said.
Gangwar was reportedly under financial crisis and was not able to pay off his debts, the ASP added.
