Congress today said it will take 10-15 days more for the party to set up the working committee and to take a decision on the distribution of responsibilities.

"The decisions could not be taken as Chief Minister Harish Rawat was occupied with the Assembly session and the rape and murder case of a minor girl in Haldwani and senior leader Ambika Soni is busy due to the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections," state Congress President Kishor Upadhyay told PTI.

Upadhyay said a decision regarding the issue would be taken between December 10 to December 15.

He had earlier said that the working committee would be set up between November 20 and November 30.

However Upadhyay said he had spoken to Rawat regarding the matter, who in turn spoke to Soni and party co-incharge Sanjay Kapoor.
