Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today said a final decision on the proposed Light Metro transport project proposed for Kozhikode and Thiruvanthapuram would be taken soon.
Talking to reporters after a meeting with metroman E Sreedharan, Chandy said the project would not be delyaed due to any issues.
A final decision on the proposal to start Light Metro in Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram will be announced soon, Chandy said.
There were differences of opinion over the implemention of the project. The role of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and whether it should be implemented under PPP model.
