The decomposed bodies of a man, his wife and his 14-year-old daughter were found in his locked house in Loni area here tonight.
Police found the bodies of Sanjay Sharma (48), Rekha (45) and Khushboo (14) after neighbours complained of the foul smell emanating from their residence, a police officer said, adding prima facie it seemed to be a case of suicide.
According to the police, they might have been dead for almost a week.
The officer said that the house was locked from inside. None of the expensive items in the home, including the jewelry and other valuables worn by Rekha, was missing, police said, suspecting it to be a case of murder while adding that murder couldn't be ruled out until the post mortem report arrived.
