The decomposed carcass of a bull that had accidentally fallen into a water tank in Aulant village about ten days ago was fished out today.
The carcass was fished out in the presence of Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Nirmal Nagar and Executive Engineer Jitender Hooda, police said.
The SDM assured the irate villagers that broken boundary wall of the water tank would be reconstructed whereas Hooda told them that strict action would be initiated against two employees of the water works for their negligence.
The villagers complained that they had been drinking contaminated water of the tank due to negligence of the employees since the last ten days.
