Dehra Dun gets some respite from heat as mercury dips

The day temperature today fell by 2.1 degree C in the city and settled at 39.6 degree Celsius.

However, other areas like Haridwar and Udhamsingh Nagar continued to swelter in scorching heat as there was no respite from heat wave conditions.
