Two BJP MLAs were today marshalled out of the Delhi Assembly as they trooped into the Well of the House, demanding a discussion on the "water crises" here and the Jan Lokpal Bill.
One of their colleagues also staged a walkout on the issues.
BJP legislators -- Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta, Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Jagdish Pradhan -- entered the Well after their adjournment motion on the water crises was declined, as the House's proceedings of the special session concluded today.
The members of the opposition did not go back to their seats, despite Speaker Ram Niwas Goel warning.
The speaker then directed that Gupta and Sirsa be marshalled out of the House.
Later, Pradhan, an MLA from Vishwas Nagar, staged a walkout from the House.
According to Gupta, opposition members were marshalled out for raising the issues of "water crises", the alleged corruption and "inefficiency" in the DJB, and the issue of the Jan Lokpal Bill.
