Delhi based NGO to help Arunachal build toilets

The Arunachal Pradesh government has collaborated with a Delhi based NGO for construction of toilets in the state.

State PHE minister Bamang Felix today visited the NGO, Sulabh International, at Dwarka Mahavir Enclave in this connection, officials said.

Founder of the NGO Bindeswar Pathak said, "Sulabh International along with another NGO has conducted a detailed survey of Hong village in Ziro. Cleaning and construction of international standard toilets will start soon."

Felix also sought support of the organisation to make Arunachal open defecation free.

"I am confident that Hong village will be transformed and it will become the cleanest village of the state," he said.
