Delhi BJP chief takes Metro ride, promotes digital transaction

Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari today took a Metro ride, interacted with people and promoted cashless modes of transactions among them during the trip.

Interacting with youths he encouraged them to adopt e-banking facility and spread awareness about it among friends and families.

Tiwari boarded a train from Sultanpur and got down at Patel Chowk station on the Yellow line of the Delhi Metro network. Several youths, whom he spoke, claimed that they use e-banking facility and praised the Centre's demonetisation move, Delhi BJP's media in-charge Praveen Shankar Kapoor said.

Attending a workshop organised by Delhi BJP's Scheduled Caste Morcha on banking apps available on mobile phones, he said "The Centre has made such arrangements for expansion of mobile banking apps that even with the help of ordinary mobile phones transactions and shopping can be done easily.
