Delhi BJP MLAs will meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to apprise him of "gross violation" of rules in Delhi Assembly and "abusive behavior" of ruling AAP MLAs in the House, Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta said today.

"Along with other party MLAs, I will soon call upon Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to apprise him of gross violation of Rules, abusive behavior of ruling party members and injustice meted out to BJP legislators," Gupta said.

Earlier today, Gupta along with BJP MLA Jagdish Pradhan walked out of the House in protest against rejection of his Privilege Motion by the Speaker.

The Leader of Opposition accompanied by Pradhan and suspended party MLA OP Sharma sat in protest outside the Assembly Hall near Mahatma Gandhi statute, till evening.

Sharma was today suspended from the Assembly for the rest of the ongoing Winter Session by Speaker Ram Niwas Goel for using derogatory language against AAP MLA Alka Lamba.

Gupta said he had submitted before the Speaker that BJP MLAs are in minority and if their voice is "suppressed" by majority MLAs by use of "abusive language", if they are "pushed around and physically assaulted", then it is an extremely "sad" commentary on the state of affairs.
