BJP Delhi Pradesh President Harsh Vardhan today said thousands of party workers from Delhi will be sent to Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttrakhand for campaigning.

He said as electioneering came to an end in the city the workers are being sent to the politically crucial states so that the party came out victorious.

"These workers will work day and night to make Narendra Modi the prime minister," the Delhi BJP president said.

Vardhan and senior party leader V K Malhotra held a meeting with Delhi BJP office bearers, district presidents, all the Loksabha candidates, party MLAs and candidates of the last Assembly elections and thanked for their hard work during the campaign in the city.

Addressing the meeting, Vardhan said elections are won by the party whose election management is "aggressive" and the booth management is given to committed workers.

"This time BJP created a wave for Narendra Modi in Delhi. The role of lakhs of active workers was important," he said.
