Delhiites today reeled under severe hot and dry weather conditions as maximum temperature in the national capital settled at 42.7 degree Celsius, the highest this season so far.
While the maximum was four degrees above normal, minimum temperature was recorded a notch below the season's average at 24.5 degrees Celsius, MeT department officials said.
Humidity in air oscillated between 12 and 47 per cent.

The MeT department has predicted a warm day with clear skies for tomorrow.
"The skies will remain mainly clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 43 and 25 degrees respectively," said the weatherman.
After April 19 last, the day temperature breached the 40- degree Celsius mark for the first time yesterday, settling at 40.8 degrees Celsius.
The minimum was recorded at 21.3 degrees Celsius.
