Delhi Chief Secretary Deepak Mohan Spolia has underwent angioplasty at Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital after doctors detected blockage in his arteries, a senior doctor of the hospital said today.
"Deepak Spolia was admitted on Sunday after he had an heart attack. During the medical investigation, blockage in one of his arteries was detected, after which he underwent angioplasty in the hospital," the doctor said.
Spolia, an IAS officer of 1979 batch, had took over as Delhi Chief Secretary on August 28, 2014.
