Delhi Chief Secretary will follow constitutional provisions notwithstanding order by the AAP government to send all files to Chief Minister's office (CMO) and the Cabinet before any decisions are taken, sources in the government said today.

Sources said that the Arvind Kejriwal government last week issued an order directing Chief Secretary Kewal Kumar Sharma to send all files to CMO and cabinet, in the midst of a bitter power tussle between AAP government and Lt Governor.

"Chief Secretary will follow the provisions of Constitution and the Transaction of Business of the Government of NCT of Delhi Rules,(TBR)," a top source said.

Sources also said that the Kejriwal government may be upset with the Delhi Chief Secretary for not acknowledging CM's pick Rajender Kumar as Home secretary in June last month.

There was recently a huge turf war over the transfers and postings of bureaucrats between Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and LG Najeeb Jung.
