Municipal commissioners have sought two more days to clarify the land use pattern of 351 roads in the national capital, a Delhi government official said today.
According to the official, Urban Development Minister Satyendar Jain had summoned the commissioners and officers tomorrow to discuss the issue of changing the land use of 351 roads to commercial and mixed land use.
"The commissioners, however, requested the minister to grant them time till Thursday for providing all relevant information and clearing of doubts," the official said.

A decision to notify the roads has been pending since 2007. If the roads are notified for mixed land use, commercial activities will be legal, which will effectively shield traders operating on these stretches from sealing.
