Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today directed the law department to submit a "way forward" roadmap on legislative bills which are awaiting clearance from the Centre.
The order came after the chief minister chaired a review meeting with the department to take feedback on the status of pending bills and objections raised at different levels.
"Some of the party legislators had raised the issue of salary increase in the assembly session recently. The bill seeking salary increase of Delhi legislators is still awaiting clearance. The chief minister directed the law minister to submit a status report on all such bills at the earliest," an official source said.
