Delhi CM meets newly-constituted governing bodies of academies

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today met the members of the newly-constituted governing bodies of Hindi, Sanskrit and Bhojpuri-Maithili Academies.

The Chief Minister lauded the role of the vice- chairpersons and members of the three academies saying, "You are learned people and have a great responsibility to fulfil. You have all earned respect from society for the hard work done by you."

The new vice-chairpersons and members introduced themselves to the Chief Minister, who heads all the three academies.

Kejriwal asked the new bodies to not keep their activities confined to Lutyen's Delhi.

"Take it to each and every citizen of Delhi. We are here for any help you require," said Kejriwal.
 

The members of these bodies were earlier welcomed by the Minister for Art and Culture, Jitender Singh Tomar.

"I request you to do all you can to take these academies forward. We are here to help you; come up with your suggestions, we will do whatever we can," said Tomar.
