Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vinod Yadav issued a production warrant against Bihar natives Kafil Akhtar and Kamal Hasan, who are currently lodged in a Bangalore's Central jail.

"Issue production warrants for both the accused to be executed through Superintendent, Prisons, returnable on July 11," the court said.

CMM Yadav issued the warrant on a plea by Delhi police, which sought their custody for their interrogation about their roles in providing hideouts and logistics to 11 other IM members for executing various terror strikes across India.

The eleven IM modules were arrested earlier by the Delhi police and have been lodged in Tihar jail.

Akhtar and Hasan, said to be IM members, were arrested by the Bangalore Crime Branch in May for their roles in Chinnaswamy stadium blast.

Delhi Police said they had actively participated in illegal activities of the outfit in different parts of India by providing hideouts and logistic supports to the 11 alleged IM men arrested by it.
