A Delhi-based doctor has been arrested for allegedly sodomising a 10-year-old Ghaziabad boy, police said today.
Police arrested the doctor, identified as Pankaj, from Indirapuram area here late last night following a complaint by the boy's mother.
According to the women, she and her son went to attend a party at her friend's house last night when the incident took place. When she was busy with her friends, she heard some noise coming out from a nearby room. She went inside the room and found Pankaj sodomising her son, police said.
"The boy's mother called up police around 1.25 AM. The accused was arrested following a complaint by her," deputy superintendent of police Ranvijay Singh said.
Pankaj lives with his family in Safardarganj area of Delhi and runs a clinic there.
