72 new services to be provided by the excise department have been added to the Delhi government's e-SLA project which promises timely delivery of public services by various departments under the Delhi Right of Citizen to Time Bound Delivery of Services Act 2011.
With this, excise department will provide 78 services under the Electronic Service Level Agreement (e-SLA) project.
According to the department, club owners, who want to serve Indian and foreign liquor in their premises, will be able to get licenses for it within six days.

He also said that L-6 license, which is for retail vend of Indian liquor/beer in public sector, will be given in six weeks, adding that retailers of country liquor can also get license during the same time.
He also said that License-31, which is for warehouse storage of Indian liquor, will be given within four weeks.
The department, which is also in-charge of luxury and entertainment tax collection in the national capital, has fixed a time period within which it will provide its services.
"The application of hotel owners wanting to get their entities registered with the department will be disposed off in 30 days. Apart from that, registration of gym, spa, banquet hall will be done within 30 days," he also added.
According to the department, application of registration for cinemas, Multi Service Operator (MSO) will be disposed off within one month.
"Application for issuance of NOC for entertainment events will also disposed off within 15 days while registration of cable operators will be done in 25 days," he added.
Under Delhi (Right of Citizen to Time Bound Delivery of Services) Act, 2011, every citizen has the right to obtain these notified Services in Delhi within a time bound period (Sec 3 of the Act).
Further, under the Act, every government servant is duty bound to deliver these services within the stipulated time period. If there is any delay in delivering of services beyond to prescribed period, citizen is entitled to seek compensation from competent authority.
