It was a pleasant day in the national capital today with the sky remaining partly cloudy and light showers occurring in the evening.
According to the MeT department, areas under Safdarjung and Lodhi Road observatories received traces of rainfall, while Palam recorded 2.1 mm and Ayanagar recorded 1.2 mm rains. Areas under the Ridge, however, remained dry.
The maximum temperature settled four notches below the season's average at 35.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was registered at 24.2 degrees, a notch below the normal, MeT department officials said.

The weatherman has predicted partly clear skies becoming mainly clear along with the possibility of dust storms in some areas tomorrow.
"Partly clear skies becoming mainly clear from tomorrow morning onwards. Dust storms could occur in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 37 and 23 degrees respectively," the MeT forecast said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature had settled three notches below the season's average at 35.8 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius, also three notches below normal for the season.
