Delhi woke up to a foggy morning today as the minimum temperature settled at 6.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

It was a mildly cold day in the national capital with the maximum recorded at 21 degrees which, too, was a notch below the normal, said a MeT department official.

Humidity in air oscillated between 41 and 94 per cent.

Foggy conditions were witnessed in the city during the morning, significantly reducing visibility, which stood at 500m at 8.30 AM. However, as the day progressed, visibility improved.

Meanwhile, the MeT office has predicted clear skies for tomorrow.

"The skies will be mainly clear. Moderate to dense foggy conditions would occur at many places in the morning, gradually lifting by forenoon. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 20 and 7 degrees Celsius, respectively," the weatherman said.

The maximum yesterday was 21.1 degrees while the minimum was 6.4 degrees.
