'Crime Patrol Dastak' is all set to air its special episode on December 16 gangrape case this weekend after getting a clearance from Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

The episode, which will be hosted by popular TV actor Anup Soni, was scheduled to air earlier this year but it got postponed following a directive from the ministry.

Anup, 38, who is famous for his roles in 'Balika Vadhu', 'CID Special Bureau' and 'Virrudh', insists that the episode will be presented in a sensitive manner.

"I would definitely vouch for my show that 'Crime Patrol' has been very sensitive towards it's graphical representations. We have shot the story sensitively and there is no drama," Anup told PTI.

"We got the clearance from the ministry after the court verdict on the incident," he added.

The show will be aired on September 21 and 22.

A Delhi trial court recently awarded the four convicts in the case -- Akshay Thakur, Vinay Sharma, Mukesh Singh and Pawan Gupta --death penalty.

The actor said the episode is just an attempt to prepare the viewers for such situations.

"This episode is just another attempt to make people aware and raise questions that what all people can do now. This case happened, we protested and these culprits got punished, but what next. We should look for a solution. That is what we are trying to show," Anup said.
