Delhi gets rains for second day

The problem of waterlogging caused inconvenience to the citizens in several areas while slow movement of traffic troubled commuters.

Till 8.30 AM, the city received 15.6 mm of rains but between 8.30 AM and 5.30 PM MeT department recorded 8.7 mm of rains.

The early morning rains hit the office-goers who had to face traffic snarls at several places. Breakdown of vehicles and non-functional traffic signals added to the woes .

Waterlogging was reported from places like Laxmi Nagar and ITO.

The city recorded a maximum temperature of 29.4 degree Celsius, which is five notches below normal, while the minimum was 26.6 degrees Celsius, which was also a degree less than normal for the season. The humidity level was between 97 and 83 per cent.

 

MeT department has predicted a cloudy sky tomorrow with one or two spells of rains or thundershowers. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 30 and 26 degree Celsius respectively.

The city has been receiving rains from early Tuesday morning.
