Delhi gets some respite from cold

Delhiites woke up to a cold and foggy morning which soon cleared giving way to bright sunshine as mercury hovered above normal.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 22.3 degree Celsius which was one point above normal. The minimum temperature too showed similar trend which was recorded at 9 degree Celsius, two notches above normal, a MeT official said.

However, weather may not be the same tomorrow as the MeT department has predicted a partly cloudy sky with possibility of light thundershowers toward evening.

Humidity remained between 56 and 100 per cent.

According to the MeT department, maximum and minimum temperatures are expected at 20 and 10 degree Celsius tomorrow.
