The Delhi government has directed the taxi drivers to paste a "clearly visible" sticker on their vehicles, cautioning the passengers to disable the child locks before starting the journey.
The move aims at ensuring the safety of women passengers after many incidents of harassment in cabs were reported.
A notice issued by the Delhi government's transport department has directed all the cab owners to immediately paste a six-inch long and four-inch wide sticker, reminding the passengers to disable the child lock, on their vehicles, an official said.
