Delhi government may soon give relief to street vendors by amending rules to allow them to cook food on the roadside.

The government recently issued a notification banning cooking food on roadsides.

"Recd complaints against street vendor policy of del govt. I admit it suffers from several problems. We will soon amend it," Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.

Some representatives of street vendors today met the Chief Minister and demanded withdrawal of the notification in this regard.
