Delhi Govt non-gazetted employees can withdraw Rs 10,000 in

All the non-gazetted employees of Delhi government can withdraw up to Rs 10,000 in cash against their advance salary for November.

As rush in banks and ATMs in the wake of demonetisation continues, group C and D employees have been given the option to draw their salary advance up to Rs 10,000 in cash and this amount would be adjusted in their salary for November to be paid in December 2016, according to a circular issued by the Principal Accounts Office, Delhi government.

"The procedure for disbursement of salary advance as issued by the Joint Controller General of Accounts, Govt of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, Office of CGA, New Delhi vide cash dated November 17 will be followed by the DDOs/HOOs.
 

"The salary bill for the month of November 2016 have already been prepared therefore the recovery of part salary advance of Rs 10,000 for the month of November would be recovered from the concerned employees from the salary of December.
