Delhi govt school teachers to undergo First Aid training

Delhi government has asked all its school heads to notify names of teachers, who will undergo compulsory First Aid training starting this month.

The Directorate of Education (DoE) today issued a circular to all the heads of 946 schools int he national capital and asked them to notify names of 100 teachers for the training in first batch.

"All the concerned Head of Schools are requested to bring the contents of this circular into the knowledge of the concerned teacher so that he/she can participate in the training programme," it said.

"It is mandatory for the teachers to attend the training daily. The teachers attending the training shall be treated as on duty for all purposes," it added.
 

The teachers have been divided into three batches and each of them will undergo a two-day exercise.

While 34 teachers have been asked to participate in the training on 17-18 November, two batches of 33 teachers each will be imparted the same training on Dec 1-2 and 8-9 respectively.

There are 946 schools in the national capital run by the Delhi Government.
