Delhi government has set up a Business Facilitation Council for generation of valuable inputs for ease of doing business in the national capital.
The council has been set up in order "to have a structured mechanism for regular interaction with the industrial associations and organisations regarding their issues for setting up business," an official release said here today.
Interactions and exchange of ideas in the council have resulted in many changes in the Delhi Master Plan, MPD-2021, with respect to industrial areas and norms, it said.
A meeting of the council was held recently and it was attended by representatives from the Industry, including Apex Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Delhi Factory Owners Association and various other stake holders.
