Delhi govt to set up 100-bed hospital in Sarita Vihar

Delhi government today sanctioned Rs 87.14 crore for the setting up of 100-bed hospital in Sarita Vihar.

The hospital will cater to the health need of the residents of south, south-west districts apart from its adjoining areas

"All necessary formalities have been completed and the work is likely to start in September this year. The hospital would be ready by March, 2016," said Arun Baroka, Principal Secretary in Public Works Department (PWD).

The hospital would be constructed on a plot area 6318 sqm and the total built up area of the hospital building will be 12579 sqm in addition to basement area of 7926 sqm.
 

The hospital building will be centrally air conditioned and lifts will be provided.

There is provision of 100 beds in the hospital besides emergency, ICU, operation theatres and day care.

This hospital has been designed at par with latest Medical Council of India (MCI) norms.

The hospital shall provide all clinical services and all types of diagnostic and testing facilities. Emergency services will comprise of facilities for examination, observation, and operation complex of O T for surgical and maternity cases.
