It was yet another hot and humid day in the national capital today as the mercury soared to settle at 37.8 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.7 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, said a MeT department official.
Humidity in air oscillated between 39 and 87 per cent.

The MeT office predicted clear skies for tomorrow.
"The skies will be mainly clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively," a Met forecast said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature had settled three notches above the season's average at 36.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, which was normal for this time of the year.
