Delhi police today claimed to have solved the sensational double murder of two brothers one of whom was a security guard at United Christian School close to Lt Governor's residence in Civil Lines area here, with the detainment of two juveniles and four other accused.
A joint team of Special Cell and North district police solved the shocking double murder cum burglary committed on the intervening night of July 14-15 by arresting four adult and two juveniles as accused in the case, said Vivek Gogia, Joint Commissioner of Police (Special Cell).
The brutal murder of brothers Sunil, 40, security guard at the school and Anil, 25, was committed by the gang of six including a juvenile who was earlier associated with the school and who had guided and directed others for the crime, said Gogia.

They reached the school on foot and scaled the boundary wall to enter the premises. Sunil and his brother woke up while the six were inside and somehow they managed to overpower them and then killed them with the help of iron pipes.
The accused had also broken locks and ransacked the office of the principal taking away cash and cell phones. They also too away the cell phones of the deceased, said the officer.
After extensive investigation and identification exercise, the joint team of police arrested Pawan and detained one juvenile accused last night near a flyover at Khajuri Khas area, he said.
On interrogation they gave information leading to the arrest of the second juvenile accused.
The remaining three accused Chanderpal, Tinku alias AndaPuchi and Daud Khan were later arrested by the police from Timarpur.
The mobile phones of the deceased and SIM cards which played crucial role in cracking the case were also recovered from the accused.
Pawan, Chanderpal and Daud had several criminal cases registered against them at various police stations.
The North Delhi range Joint Commissioner of Police SK Gautam denied any role of illicit relationship in the double murder.
