Delhi Police constable arrested for indecent calls to PCR

A Delhi Police constable has been arrested for making frequent indecent calls to the Police Control Room (PCR) and rebuking women personnel on duty.

The Kavi Nagar police have arrested the accused, Suvendra Singh, a resident of Govind Puram area.

According to a press statement, the accused was in habit of making frequent calls to toll-free PCR number 100 and rebuking female police constables answering the calls.

He has been booked under IPC sections 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from duty), 294 (obscene act) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace). He has been sent to jail.
